• How close is the resort to Universal Orlando, Epic Universe, and Disney World?

  Villatel Resort Orlando is centrally located near all the top theme parks. Universal Orlando Resort is approximately 2.1 miles (10 minutes) away, Epic Universe is approximately 3.8 miles (12 minutes) away, and Walt Disney World is approximately 11.1 miles (25 minutes) away. Travel time varies based on traffic.

• Does the resort offer transportation to the parks?

  Yes, guests of Villatel Resort Orlando have access to complimentary round-trip shuttle service to Universal Orlando and Disney World throughout their stay.

• Does the resort offer discounted Universal or Disney tickets?

  No, at this time, the resort does not offer discounted tickets to Universal or Disney. We recommend checking directly with the theme parks for the most current promotions and offers.

• Does the resort offer any handicap accessible units?

  Yes, within the resort amenity area, you'll find an accessible main entrance, as well as accessible entrances to the Grand Pool/ Aqua Bay water park, Aqua Bar & Grille, and Fitness Center. The Grand Pool also features a self-operating lift. Accessible on-site parking is available at the resort, as well. The villas at the resort do not have accessibility features; however, every villa offers at least one bedroom on the ground floor and we are able to install a ramp at the front entrance, upon request.

• What does your resort fee cover?

  The daily resort fee covers unlimited access to Aqua Bay water park and all additional resort amenities for all guests staying on property. Cabana rentals, reserved poolside seating, pickleball courts, and food/beverages incur additional fees.

• Are there heated attractions at Aqua Bay waterpark?

  The Lazy Loop and Grand Pool are heated; the water slides and Splash Cove wet playground are not heated.

• Are the accommodations at Villatel Orlando Resort dog-friendly?

  Yes, Villatel Resort Orlando welcomes well-behaved dogs in our villa accommodations. Guests may bring up to two (2) dogs with a combined weight of up to 125 lbs or up to 75 lbs for a single dog. A non-refundable fee of $150 per pet, per stay applies. Please note that pets are not permitted in Aqua Bay Waterpark or other resort amenities. Registered service animals are always welcome at Villatel Resort Orlando for no additional fee.

• Are the villas pre-stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials?

  Yes, all villas are stocked with starter kitchen and bathroom essentials. Additional products may be purchased through Guest Services or ordered straight to the Villas via delivery platforms like Instacart and Shipt.

• Are the pools in the villas heated?

  Pool and spa heat is available for a daily add-on fee that varies depending on the pool's size. Pool heat is required to heat both the pool and the spa. Once heated, pool temperatures are set to reach 82–86 degrees Fahrenheit; spas are set to reach 102 degrees Fahrenheit. Depending on the weather, it can take up to 24 hours to heat the pool, so it is recommended that you reserve pool heat in advance of your stay if you’d like to add this service.

• Will the spas be hot without pool heat?

  No, pool heat distributes heat to both the pool and the spa simultaneously; the spa will not be warm if pool heat isn’t turned on. Turn the manual timer on the lanai wall to turn on the spa jets and heat the spa up to 102 degrees Fahrenheit. Note that the spas are not “hot tubs”; they will not reach temperatures usually associated with hot tubs and cannot be heated as stand-alone spas. When the jets are on, the heat will be directed toward the spa and away from the pool.

• Will the pool stay heated in colder weather?

  ‘Cold fronts’ in the winter months (i.e. temps below 60 degrees) can cause the pool equipment to stop functioning; this does not constitute mechanical failure and refunds for pool heat will not be issued.

• Does every villa have a spa?

  Spas are available in all six-bedroom, seven-bedroom, and nine-bedroom villas. Four-bedroom villas and five-bedroom villas do not include in-villa spas.

• Does the pool have a child safety gate?

  Yes, for the safety and peace of mind of our guests, all villa pools are surrounded with child safety gates.

• What’s the best way to get around once I arrive?

  If you prefer to have a car to get around during your stay, we recommend renting from any of the major car rental companies at the airport. However, we do offer shuttle service to and from Disney and Universal, and we’re conveniently located near the city’s best shopping and dining—so you may cut costs and hassle by taking Ubers/ Lyfts instead of renting a car!

• Is there a fee for parking at the resort?

  Assigned self-parking is available at a cost of $35 per vehicle, per day.

• How many vehicles can I park at the resort?

  There is no limit to the number of vehicles that you can park; each vehicle incurs its own daily fee.

• Where should I park?

  Each villa comes with one designated parking space right in front of the villa; additional parking spaces are available in lots located throughout the resorts.
