Accommodations

How large are the villas? How many guests can they accommodate?

Our villas range from four to nine bedrooms and can accommodate up to 26 guests. The 4-bedroom villa offers 1,888 square feet and sleeps up to 10 guests, the 5-bedroom villa offers 2,145 square feet and sleeps up to 12 guests, the 6-bedroom villa offers 3,543 square feet and sleeps up to 16 guests, the 6-bedroom villa with theater offers 3,411 square feet and sleeps up to 14 guests, the 7-bedroom villa offers 3,802 square feet and sleeps up to 18 guests, and the 9-bedroom villa offers 4,304 square feet and sleeps up to 26 guests.

Are all accommodations equipped with full kitchens?

Yes, all villas at Villatel Resort Orlando include a full kitchen with a large fridge, oven, four-burner stove, dishwasher, countertop appliances, and a full set of cookware and tableware, including wine glasses.

Are the villas pre-stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials?

Yes, all villas are stocked with starter kitchen and bathroom essentials. Additional products may be purchased through Guest Services or ordered straight to the Villas via delivery platforms like Instacart and Shipt.

Are villa pools heated, and is there an additional fee?

Pool and spa heat is available for a daily add-on fee that varies depending on the pool's size. Pool heat is required to heat both the pool and the spa. Once heated, pool temperatures are set to reach 82–86 degrees Fahrenheit; spas are set to reach 102 degrees Fahrenheit. Depending on the weather, it can take up to 24 hours to heat the pool, so it is recommended that you reserve pool heat in advance of your stay if you’d like to add this service.

Will the pool stay heated in colder weather?

Cold fronts during the winter months (i.e. temperatures below 60°F) can cause the pool heating equipment to automatically shut off as a safety precaution. This does not constitute a mechanical failure, and refunds for pool heat will not be issued during these weather events. Heat will resume once temperatures rise.

Do all villas have a spa?

Spas are available in all six-bedroom, seven-bedroom, and nine-bedroom villas. Four-bedroom villas and five-bedroom villas do not include in-villa spas.

Do all pools have a child safety gate?

Yes, for the safety and peace of mind of our guests, all villa pools are surrounded with child safety gates.

Is Villatel Resort Orlando pet-friendly?

Yes, Villatel Resort Orlando welcomes well-behaved dogs in our villa accommodations. Guests may bring up to two (2) dogs with a combined weight of up to 125 lbs or up to 75 lbs for a single dog. A non-refundable fee of $150 per pet, per stay applies. Please note that pets are not permitted in Aqua Bay Waterpark or other resort amenities. Registered service animals are always welcome at Villatel Resort Orlando for no additional fee.

Are the villas part of Marriott Bonvoy? Can I use Marriott points or member rates to book a villa?

The resort's Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy are part of the Marriott Bonvoy program and eligible for point redemption and member rates. The Villas at Villatel Resort Orlando are not part of Marriott Bonvoy and must be booked directly through our website or via our authorized booking partners.

Is smoking allowed at the resort?

Villatel Resort Orlando is a non-smoking property. Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vaporizers) is not permitted inside any villa, apartment, or enclosed resort amenity area. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. Violations will result in additional cleaning fees.

What additional services or add-ons are available for my stay?

We offer a variety of in-villa add-on services, including grocery delivery, crib and stroller rentals, birthday packages, and more.

Is daily housekeeping included in my villa stay?

Daily housekeeping is not included with a stay at Villatel Resort Orlando. Guests may opt to add daily or mid-stay cleaning services to their reservation for a fee. To arrange for daily or mid-stay housekeeping services, please contact Guest Services.

Booking & Check In

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies at Villatel Resort Orlando vary based on villa size. For 4-bedroom and 5-bedroom villas, a 20% refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to arrival; the deposit is refundable for cancellations received more than 14 days prior to arrival, while cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable. For 6-bedroom, 7-bedroom, and 9-bedroom villas, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival; cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival forfeit the deposit, while cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are 100% non-refundable. Please note that all reservations are fully refundable for 24 hours after booking.

Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Minimum stay requirements at Villatel Resort Orlando vary based on villa size and seasonality. 4-Bedroom Villas, 5-Bedroom Villas, and select 6-Bedroom Villas start at a two-night minimum stay, while 7-Bedroom Villas, 9-Bedroom Villas, and select 6-Bedroom Villas have a three– to five-night minimum stay depending on the time of year.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Payments may be made using a major credit card: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

On the day of arrival, check-in begins at 4:00 pm. Check-out is by 10:00 am.

Can I request early check-in or late check-out?

Early check in and late check out requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Guests can submit a request through Guest Services and accommodations will be made whenever possible; additional fees may apply.

How do I access my villa?

Access instructions, including your unique door code, are provided via email prior to arrival. If you haven’t received them by the day of check-in, please contact Guest Services. Note: if you completed your reservation within 14 days of check-in, kindly visit the front desk upon arrival for verification and to receive your villa access code.

Can I host an event or celebration at my villa?

Private gatherings are permitted within your villa as long as they comply with the resort’s noise policy and occupancy limits. Events exceeding the villa’s maximum occupancy or requiring external vendors (catering, entertainment, rentals) must be pre-approved by resort management. Kindly reach out to Guest Services to discuss your plans.

Amenities

Is access to Aqua Bay Waterpark included with my stay?

Yes, all guests of Villatel Resort Orlando enjoy access to Aqua Bay Waterpark, included with the resort fee.

Are the attractions and Grand Pool at Aqua Bay Waterpark heated?

The Lazy Loop and Grand Pool are heated; the water slides and Splash Cove wet playground are not heated.

Are there height or age restrictions for any waterpark attractions?

Height requirements for Aqua Bay Waterpark vary based on the specific slide. Guests must be at least 40" tall to ride the Blue Blaster, Emerald Rush, and Coral Crush, and at least 48" tall to ride the Violet Vortex. There are no height or age restrictions for the Grand Pool, Lazy Loop, or Splash Cove.

What are the operating hours for Aqua Bay Waterpark?

Aqua Bay Waterpark is open daily. Hours vary by season and may be adjusted for weather or maintenance. Current operating hours are posted at the resort entrance and included in your welcome guide. For the most up-to-date schedule, contact Guest Services.

Is there a fitness center on property?

Yes, Villatel Resort Orlando has a large, 24-hour fitness center featuring premium cardio and strength training equipment. Access to the fitness center is complimentary for all guests.

Location

How close is the resort to Universal Orlando, Epic Universe, and Disney World?

Villatel Resort Orlando is centrally located near all the top theme parks. Universal Orlando Resort is approximately 2.1 miles (10 minutes) away, Epic Universe is approximately 3.8 miles (12 minutes) away, and Walt Disney World is approximately 11.1 miles (25 minutes) away. Travel time varies based on traffic.

Does the resort offer discounted tickets to Universal or Disney World?

No, at this time, the Villatel Resort Orlando does not offer discounted tickets to Universal or Disney. We recommend checking directly with the theme parks for current promotions and offers.

Does the resort offer shuttle service to the theme parks?

Yes, guests of Villatel Resort Orlando have access to complimentary round-trip shuttle service to Universal Orlando and Disney World throughout their stay.

How do I reserve a shuttle seat?

You can book a seat on the shuttle up to seven days in advance. Seats are limited and reservations are required to ride!

Where is the shuttle pick-up and drop-off location?

The shuttle pick-up and drop-off location is just north of the resort lobby at 5045 Del Verde Way.

What’s the best way to get around once I arrive?

Villatel Resort Orlando is located on International Drive, making it walkable to dozens of nearby shops and restaurants. The resort offers complimentary round-trip shuttle service to Universal Orlando and Disney World, while rideshare services (i.e. Uber, Lyft) are readily available for transportation to other local attractions. If you prefer to have a vehicle to get around during your stay, we recommend renting from any of the major car rental companies at Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Parking

Is parking available at the resort?

Yes, self-parking is available for guests of Villatel Resort Orlando for a daily fee of $35 per vehicle. Each villa comes with one designated parking space right in front of the villa; additional parking spaces are available in lots located throughout the resorts.

Is there a parking fee?

Assigned self-parking is available at a cost of $35 per vehicle, per day.

How many vehicles can park per reservation?

There is no limit to the number of vehicles that you can park; each vehicle incurs its own daily fee.

Are RVs, trailers, or large trucks allowed at the resort?

No, due to space constraints and safety considerations, RVs, trailers, and large commercial trucks are not permitted on the resort property. Standard passenger vehicles, SUVs, and minivans are welcome.
