The Best International Drive Attractions
Orlando is most known for the city's epic theme parks like Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, and SeaWorld. These top attractions bring millions of visitors annually. You may have come to Orlando for the theme parks, but dozens of world-class attractions do not involve Disney, Universal, or the other theme parks.
Discover the world of International Drive! It's a great place to really explore Orlando. I-Drive is 11 miles long and home to many of the city's top attractions. The attractions are often smaller than the "big guys" but offer tons of unique and affordable experiences and are a great way to spend a few hours, a few days, or your entire stay.

ICON Park - One Stop Fun
ICON Park Orlando is an ever-evolving walkable entertainment complex that features over 40 attractions and dining venues, including the famous Wheel at ICON Park. This 400-foot observation wheel is the tallest in the country and offers fantastic views across the city. It moves slowly and is stabilized to provide a level and smooth ride with a minimal swing. The Wheel has 30 pods, each of which can carry up to 15 passengers in air-conditioned comfort. Watch the Wheel light up at night, and consider a private pod experience.
The true adrenaline junkies will want to take a ride on the 450-foot tall Orlando StarFlyer, the tallest swing ride in the world. Yikes! Riders are safely secured in a double seat and will move up and down around the giant tower at speeds of up to 45 mph.
Icon Orlando is also the home to SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium, which houses more than 5,000 marine animals from three different oceans! Enjoy interactive displays, walk-through aquariums, and a 360-degree view from inside the tanks. Colorful fish, sharks, barracuda, a Giant Pacific Octopus, and more await you. This is a great one for sea life fans, young and old.
Madame Tussauds Orlando is an all-time favorite with realistic wax figures of famous athletes, movie stars, and more. Talk about the perfect selfie opportunity!
ICON Park offers plenty of free parking, eight separate attractions and thrill rides, and over 40 shops and restaurants. Park once and enjoy a day or an evening of fun.
I-Drive NASCAR Kart Racing
If you have a "need for speed," you'll want to check out I-Drive NASCAR Kart Racing. This indoor facility is the perfect way to beat the heat or stay out of the rain with its half-mile-long track and karts that go up to 45 mph. Enjoy the large arcade and restaurant and make an evening of it.

Discover White Lightning, the world's tallest sky coaster at 250 feet, and Orlando's only wooden roller coaster. Take a spin on one of four go-kart tracks, and enjoy two stories of arcade games. For the wee ones, "Kid Spot" has nine rides designed for kids between 24 to 42 inches, all that move at slower speeds.
NEW! - Dezerland Park
Dezerland Park is called Florida's largest indoor attraction. This 800,000-square-foot family entertainment center has something for everyone. Go-karts, mini-golf, an escape room, large arcade, Virtual Reality coaster experience, blowing and ax throwing and multiplex cinema add up to tons of fun for every age and taste. If you visit just one of the many International Drive Orlando attractions, make it this one. It is a family-pleaser.
Dezerland Park's centerpiece is the 250,000-square-foot Orlando Auto Museum, where you can view more than 2,000 rare and exotic vehicles, including James Bond vehicles, micro cars, and the world's most extensive collection of Batman vehicles. Getting the Most from I-Drive Orlando Attractions
The International Drive district is big, and while much of it is walkable, you'll never see it all without a vehicle. There are numerous transportation options, but our favorite is the trolleybuses that will take you all around the area, with stops throughout the district. It is affordable, at a maximum ride cost of $2, and runs from 8 am to 10:30 pm daily. All board!!
Shopping: The Drive is jam-packed with great shopping opportunities ranging from jewelry and fashion retailers in the ICON Park, mementos to preserve the perfect memory, and two great outlet malls where you can find treasures without blowing the budget. Check out Orlando International Premium Outlets, Florida's largest outlet shopping center with almost a quarter-million square feet, featuring over 180 designer and name brands. On the south end of I-Drive, you'll find Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets with significant savings approaching 65 percent off designer goods.
Dining: When it's time for a bite to eat, no worries. Offerings range from the world's largest McDonald's Playplace to excellent gourmet restaurants and dinner shows. Some of our favorites are Cafe Tutu Tango, known for their Spanish-inspired dishes, art, and entertainment, Itta Benna, named for BB King's hometown, which offers Southern cuisine. Tin Roof Orlando is the spot for classic American fare and some great live music. Another exceptional spot is IceBar Orlando, a bar built of ice sculptures, where even the bar and glasses are made of ice. Warm-up later in the Fire Lounge. For a night of swashbuckling, check out Pirates Dinner Adventures.
PRO Tips: Make reservations ahead for dinner. Check online for attraction savings for prepurchase. ICON Park offers free parking! Be sure to get at least one evening visit to International Drive to enjoy the lights and the vibe. Read about more Top Things to do in Orlando Besides Disney.
