Tips Before You Go!
- Signature Treatments
Orlando has many spa options to help bring relaxation to your vacation. We have shared with you just a few of the top spas in Orlando in our guide. Most of the more upscale resorts are going to offer very elegant spas with their Signature offerings. It's always a great idea to try the Signature treatments as you may not have the opportunity to try them again. I will never forget the first Hot SeaShell Massage I ever had in Maui, and memories are what it's all about.
- Book Before You Travel
Having said that, resort spas book up early. Check out the resort website and their spa menu well before you travel and if you have your heart set on a treatment, book it well in advance.
If you encounter rainy or inclement weather, make your booking as early as possible. They will book up very quickly.
- Review the Cancellation Policies
Cancellation Policies can be strict. Be sure you fully understand them before you book, as they will be charged to your room.
Benefit and Upgrade Eligibility
- Check your hotel and credit card rewards program to see if you are eligible for any specials, upgrades, or extra points.
Spa Etiquette
- The number one rule for being a good spa guest is to use your spa voice everywhere! The last thing anyone wants breaking their massage zen or meditation is someone's champaign-fueled story of last night's escapades.
- No cell phones! Just no! And keep the chat to a minimum during your treatment. The walls are thin.
- Consider a breath mint or gargle before you go. You'll be very close and personal with your technician. Eat light before your treatment for a more enjoyable experience- and hold the complimentary champagne for after.
- Leave your jewelry in the hotel safe. (I once spent hours going through the pockets of dirty robes searching for my Rolex.)
- Arrive 15 minutes before your treatment and be freshly showered.
- If you are not comfortable with the room temperature, the music, or the pressure, you should absolutely speak up. The technician wants to know.
- Do not feel pressured to buy any of the products that were used on you. Ever!
- You'll be given a robe and slippers. If you choose to keep your panties on, that's fine. No judgment
We hope our guide to the top spas in Orlando helps you find that perfect treatment for you.
